Disney Store, the apparel and lifestyle retailer behind the American entertainment business, is set to launch its biggest activation to-date in Brisbane.
From July 4 to September 27 this year, the brand will bring back its pop-up experience to the Queen Street Mall in Brisbane CBD.
Doors will open at 9:00am on launch day, with the first 50 customers in line set to receive a free gift, with spot prizes and giveaways also planned for opening day.
The pop-up will stock collectibles, toys and apparel across a range of Disney properties. Planned highlights include launches tied to Pixar Studios films — among them Finding Nemo, Cars and Up — as the studio marks 40 years of filmmaking.
Disney Store Japan's Urupocha-chan plush toys and keychains will also be available, alongside Christmas in July-themed ornaments.
A range of collectible cards designed exclusively for Brisbane will be available in-store, with the first card released on opening day.
On the evening of July 8, the pop-up will host a ticketed pin-trading event for Australian collectors. The event forms part of Disney Store's global 'Tails of Friendship' pin-trading series, with exclusive pins available only in London, Dublin and Brisbane. Tickets just went on sale this week, with five sessions available to book. Exclusive pin purchases are capped at two per person.
Disney Store sells into Australia through a dedicated online portal.
