French-born global brand Dior is set to temporarily take over a Sydney Mexican bar to unveil its next chapter in perfumes.

Dior’s fragrance line Sauvage will be spotlighted in a pop-up at El Primo Sanchez next weekend from August 14 to 16.

The Sauvage House at El Primo Sanchez on Crown Street will mark the launch of its Sauvage Extrait, a new fragrance composed by Francis Kurkdjian, the perfume creative director at Parfums Christian Dior.

Taking on the Extrait’s composition, the pop-up space utilises woody textures and smoky-blue facets within a dimly lit speakeasy atmosphere.

The pop-up will offer fragrance discovery sessions lasting an hour, alongside facial grooming services run by Fernnando Miranda, with specially designed cocktails and canapés roaming the space. The pop-up takes bookings and walk-ins.

Dior’s fragrance push follows similar moves by other leading fashion brands in the beauty and perfume space. A few weeks ago, Guess launched its new fragrance at a special event in Sydney, with Myer and The Iconic upping their beauty assortments over the last year.
