Australian fashion's golden child Dion Lee will return to the domestic trade event schedule - but with his own showcase during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.
Lee will present his southern hemisphere spring/summer 13/14 collection at an intimate dinner on April 9.
The showcase is not part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia schedule, but will run in line with the event.
Lee joined womenswear designer Josh Goot in pulling out of the event last year.
Lee's intimate dinner will take place at Guillaume at Bennelong, marking his return to the Opera House after previously showing in the Northern Foyer in 2010 and 2011.
The presentation will feature a concise edit of 15 looks from the summer collection, entitled WINDMAP.
Lee has spent several seasons showcasing his collections overseas to critical acclaim, including consecutive shows at London Fashion Week.
The designer was also a finalist in this year's International Woolmark Prize.
