Australian-born designer Dion Lee has launched a new brand under his creative direction, called ‘HÆLO’.

This comes over a year and a half after Lee’s namesake brand fell into voluntary administration. The Dion Lee brand collapsed owing $35 million in liabilities.

On August 30, 2024, the brand was then placed into liquidation. The brand’s assets were then sold to Revolve Group in mid-2025, with Lee himself reportedly continuing with his namesake brand’s creative direction.

According to Lee, his new brand HÆLO explores a softer, more sensual dimension of his technical aesthetic.

The collection, covering 28 pieces across pants, shorts, tops and jackets, is said to move between angelic and gothic influences, pairing lace and corsetry with sharp tailoring, leather, and sculptural forms.

HÆLO launches with a direct-to-consumer model, starting with an online website, with products crafted with European textiles and manufacturing.

“The opportunity to create a new brand has been refreshing and inspiring, having only designed under my namesake for the past 15 years,” Lee said. “I’m enjoying developing a business model that is both aspirational and accessible, independent of traditional wholesale and runway seasonality.

“With HÆLO, I’m excited to build a distinct brand identity - exploring new modes of communication and channelling inspirations drawn from music and film. More projects to be announced very soon.”

The collection launches today via the HÆLO website and via exclusive retail partners, Revolve and FWRD.
