The Design Residency, a creative incubator for Australian artisans and designers, has launched a retail store in Sydney.
The store is positioned on Oxford Street, Darlinghurst and will feature a rotating list of designers.
Inder Dhillon and The Mode Collective will take over the site from this week and into July.
Each of The Residents will collaborate on a theme relevant to their brand and others they invite to be a part of the shop.
In addition to the retail aspect, there will be VIP nights, workshops and talks.
The shop will open Wednesday - Sunday from midday till late.
The initiative is part of the City of Sydney Creative Spaces Programme.
It will showcase a range of categories spanning fashion, jewellery, homewares, lighting, furniture, textiles, artworks, grooming and beauty products.
