The Textile, Clothing and Footwear Resource Centre of WA (TCFWA) and TCF Australia have chosen eight emerging Australian fashion businesses to sponsor for the Fashion Exposed trade fair in Sydney next month.
The non-profit community organisations will showcase emerging designers Maddy Petrulis Designs, Bagsalot, Buli-J Australia, Glamorous Life Swimwear, CVS Fashions, Ironboy, Ling Ling and TCF Global Village Sewing Projects at Fashion Exposed from March 6 to 8 at the Sydney Exhibition Centre.
Both TCFWA and TCF Australia aim to provide those in the fashion industry with exposure, access to business workshops, online mentoring, forums, industry cluster networks, and national and global linkages to small businesses operating in the textile, clothing, footwear & leather industry across Australia. This year, as part of the TCF Australia Online Training & Mentoring Project, the organisations will also provide free workshops for those attending Fashion Exposed, with complimentary sessions offered to up to 15 fashion businesses at a time.

TCFWA, which owns the business name TCF Australia, was established in 1998 and has been sponsoring designers at Fashion Exposed since 2002. Designers who would like to vie for a Fashion Exposed sponsorship in future can email TCFWA for consideration on info@tcwa.com. They must be must be first-time exhibitors and be prepared to send a profile and images of their designs.
