Fleur Wood, Lisa Ho, Farage and Suboo are among the first designer labels to enlist in an online shopping platform which has already secured major retailers and department stores.

Ebay Fashion Gallery has recruited the brands as part of a targeted push to expand its product offer.

The designers will join power brands such as Bardot, Witchery, Supre, Marcs, Jigsaw, Ladakh and House of Fraser UK.

Ebay Australia and New Zealand head of fashion Jo-Ann Hicks said the move was a direct response to customer demand.

“We focus on targeting brands and retailers our shoppers tell us they want to see on Fashion Gallery.

"Our shoppers are mainstream consumers who like to mix and match high end pieces with fast fashion finds.

"So to give our community what they want we need to keep our targets broad and think about a strong mix of local Australian as well as international favourites.

“The number one priority is to keep building inventory by increasing the number of partnerships we have with both Australian and international brands and retailers.”

Hicks added that Ebay, which attracts seven million visitors every month, is also poised to announce new developments over the next few months.

This will include the first Ebay Fashion Gallery look book, set to in July, as well as activations planned for the Ebay Fashion Gallery's first birthday in October 2012.
