Opening Ceremony, House of Holland and Peter Jensen are part of the designer lineup for a new Australian online retailer.

Eocene is the latest online retail store to launch down under, offering international brands not readily available through local brick-and-mortar stores.

Co-founder Lauren Jones said the platform will feature a mix of established and emerging designers.

“I want Eocene to feature emerging brands that are still hard to find in Australia,” she said. “I don’t want to play it safe, I want Eocene to have brands that are a bit different.”

Eocene will be the first Australian retailer to stock a number of emerging international brands.

These include CFDA nominated Timo Weiland and South African-based handmade desert boot brand Brother Vellies.

French streetwear brand Tigersushi Furs will also be a domestic first, dropping online in July/August.

Eocene also offers renowned British brands Peter Jensen and House of Holland, which will be available from July.

Danish brands Soulland and Designers Remix will round up the launch offer, with jeweller Maria Black available at the beginning of May.

Eocene offers free express delivery on all orders and a 14-day window for full refunds.
