David Jones has announced it will open its first Sunshine Coast store at Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore, Queensland.
The new store is planned to open in Spring 2018 as part of the Sunshine Plaza’s $400 million dollar redevelopment.
David Jones Sunshine Plaza will feature the same new store concept featured at Pacific Fair, Gold Coast and Wellington, New Zealand.
Central to the design is enhancement of the customer experience and more dynamic visual merchandising.
David Jones' new customer service model will see an increased focus on full time sales professionals and category experts.
The new 8,000sqm store will also offer click & collect, personal styling and the department store’s new café concept, David Jones Café.
David Jones chief John Dixon said the store will bring a work class shopping experience to customers.
