Department store David Jones has added another designer exclusive to its brand stable, with the addition of Christian Hirth cashmere scarves.
The 100 per cent cashmere wraps will be exclusive to David Jones stores in Sydney and Melbourne from April 2.
German designer Christian Hirth has produced fine cashmere for international fashion houses for over 17 years, with the product now available to local consumers.
Christian Hirth launched its 2012 winter collection to domestic buyers at trade fair Fashion Exposed.
A cashmere scarf, delivered in a signature box, retails at $220 and measures 188cm by 53cm.
The product is created using a delicate yarn sourced from the underbelly of Mongolian goats, officially certified as 100 per cent Grade A cashmere.
Available in ten colourways, ranging from black and charcoal grey to coral and fuchsia, Christian Hirth scarves will be available at Elizabeth Street and Bondi Junction stores in Sydney, Bourke Street in Melbourne and online via christianhirth.com.
