Department store David Jones has just opened a new Sunglasses Gallery at its Elizabeth Street flagship in Sydney.
The newly designed space brings together more than 40 established, emerging and globally recognised eyewear brands.
Located on the ground floor, the gallery introduces 12 new brands to the retailer, both in-store and online, including Cartier, Victoria Beckham, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Jacquemus, Bvlgari, Linda Farrow, Ferrari, Giorgio Armani, MM6, Shevoke and TAG Heuer.
Executive GM of womenswear, footwear, accessories and beauty, Bridget Veals, called the new retail space an exciting evolution of our accessories offering in Sydney.
"By bringing together an unrivalled edit of designer, contemporary and emerging eyewear brands in a dedicated space, we're creating a more inspiring and immersive shopping experience for our customers,” Veals said.
“Alongside iconic global names, we're delighted to introduce a number of brands that are new to both Elizabeth Street and David Jones, giving customers even more reasons to visit, explore and find their next favourite pair of frames."
The gallery also features eyewear from other brands such as Chanel, Prada, Miu Miu, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Ray-Ban, Christian Dior, Celine, Loewe, Tom Ford, Versace, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Oliver Peoples and Persol, alongside Australian staples Le Specs, Luv Lou, Aire and Oroton.
The launch welcomes several brands to the Elizabeth Street store for the first time, including Oakley, Maui Jim, Otra Eyewear, Tiffany, Jimmy Choo, and Sodashades.
Alongside the launch, David Jones has introduced dedicated eyewear styling appointments for the first time, available exclusively at the Sydney CBD store.
