Thelma McQuillan has been appointed as fashion director for David Jones’ new customer magazine and app.
McQuillan will join the platform from Harper’s Bazaar where she has been fashion director for over three years.
Previously, she was fashion director at Grazia Australia and contributing fashion editor at Grazia UK for five years.
She has also spent over 14 years as a stylist, working on a range of local and international titles and brands.
McQuillan is the latest appointment to the customer magazine and app, which will launch in August.
The seasonal print magazine will deliver newsstand-quality content around fashion, beauty and interior style.
It will be distributed quarterly in store and mailed to David Jones’ most loyal customers.
The accompanying app will be available on mobile and tablet, for IOS and Android devices and will have a weekly publishing frequency.
