The management shuffle at David Jones continues, with the department store today announcing the appointment of a new company secretary and general counsel.
Susan Leppinus, who has eight years experience as company secretary and general counsel in an ASX 200 company, will take on the role at David Jones, effective from July 10.
Leppinus will replace former David Jones company secretary and general counsel Caroline Waldron who resigned in May, effective from July 9, after the department store flagged a management restructure on the cards.
David Jones chairman Robert Savage said Leppinus' strong track record with senior management in publicly listed companies would be an asset to the business.
“We are delighted to have someone of Susan's calibre join our company. The board and I welcome her as company secretary and look forward to working closely with her.”
