David Jones has launched its first issue of Jones magazine and app.
The new title features Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki on the cover.
The quarterly title has a cover price of $9.95 and is available at all David Jones stores and selected newsagents.
Jones has a guaranteed circulation of 250,000, which includes 120,000 copies mailed to David Jones’ highest spending customers.
The Jones app is available for free to download from the App Store and Google Play and will keep customers updated on a weekly basis across fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
David Jones CEO John Dixon said the title allows the retailer to connect to new and existing customers.
"It delivers a curated edit with an independent voice which – by seamlessly integrating into our digital, social and in-store platforms – enables an efficient content strategy to inform and inspire our customers anywhere, anytime.”
The first issue has 71 pages of advertising and includes such high-profile brands as Dior, Tom Ford, La Prairie, Coach, Armani, Estee Lauder & Gucci.
It includes an exclusive interview and shoot with Debicki, an insight into a collaboration between Carla Zampatti and Romance Was Born and styling tips from designers including Nicky Zimmermann and Camilla Freeman-Topper.
Jones is edited by Deborah Bibby with Thelma McQuillan as fashion director.
