The newly launched David Jones Premiere and Prestige Credit Cards have been awarded a Canstar Award for its competitive rewards program.
Canstar is a financial comparison platform, which has assessed 122 credit cards from 39 providers across the market.
David Jones’ two new credit cards were launched in 2024, which have since been recognised for its value in the rewards credit card category.
“This award is a fantastic endorsement of our vision to bring Australians a credit card product that seamlessly blends value, experience and rewards,” David Jones GM of financial services Steve Price said.
“We’re proud to see the new David Jones Credit Cards recognised for their outstanding value so soon after launch, and excited about the benefits they offer customers. The Premier and Prestige cards are the most rewarding way for customers to pay, everywhere they shop, and come with experiences and services like no other from David Jones.”
Canstar ratings manager Keely Robinson said both credit cards stood out for delivering outstanding value across the range of spending amounts considered in the research.
“With strong bonus earn rates at participating retailers on everyday essentials like groceries, fuel, and purchases at David Jones stores, these cards offer standout value for consumers who pay off their balance in full each month and want to maximise their rewards potential.”
Credit for the cards have been provided by Latitude Finance Australia. David Jones signed an exclusive 10-year agreement with the financial firm in 2023.
Latitude Financial today announced that it has secured an exclusive 10-year agreement to provide credit cards for leading Australian retailer David Jones.
