As part of its latest collection, Australian fashion retailer Country Road has returned to its home town of Melbourne to create a locally inspired campaign.

The Home Town collection, shot on the iconic Spring Street, has been developed to reflect the art, music and food culture associated with the city.

Australian photographer Benny Horne was recruited to shoot the campaign that celebrates the brand's home for over 40 years.

The collection draws inspiration from the colours, textures and forms of the Australian landscape and native flora.

There is a focus on natural materials and soft palettes, with womenswear centred on more polished, technical fabrics ranged back with the premium casual lifestyle pieces.

Menswear has been designed to encourage new ways of layering, building upon less formal foundations such as denim and casual shirting.

The Home Town campaign also brings stories from the Live With Us online journal to print, which focuses on notable Melbourne profiles such as Vincent Chan, Tré Samuels, Kate Reid, Jane Wilkinson and Emma Telfer.
