Country Road issued a product safety recall on its Indigo Elephant crew top, ragtrader.com.au can reveal.
The retailer was not satisfied with the results of a routine safety test, in particular its press studs.
The studs could be removed and presented a choking hazard for young children.
The voluntary recall was issued across all stores, with only 19 units sold in South Africa at the time.
The recall applied to the Country Road Elephant Crew, Ages 0 – 24 months, Colour Indigo, Style no. 60197318.
All existing stock of this product has since been removed from stores.
