Australian fashion brand Country Road has introduced baby and children's brand The Memo to its marketplace offering.
This marks a new chapter in Country Road’s expansion into the baby and child category.
The Memo was founded in 2019 by Kate Casey and Phoebe Simmonds as an online Australian retailer focused on pregnancy, postpartum and baby essentials.
The brand stocks a range of goods in these categories from brands such as Ergobaby, Due, Mumma Etc, Rhea, Phile and Mumma Mila. It is also The Memo’s first marketplace integration, which follows the brand’s shift into physical retail in recent years, with three stores in Victoria and one in Sydney.
“We are thrilled to partner with iconic Australian retailer Country Road on a considered edit of the best, most beautiful baby essentials and gorgeous gifts for young families, bringing excitement and ease to the baby shopping experienc,” co-founder Simmonds said. “It’s our way of introducing what makes The Memo so special to the Country Road customer and offering more choice to everybody.”
Country Road managing director Helen Wright said The Memo is a natural addition to its childrenswear offering.
“[This brings] a trusted, highly considered approach, and reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, purposeful lifestyle products for every stage of life.”
Country Road launched its marketplace offering in late 2025, with Witchery also on the bandwagon. Trenery, Mimco and Politix are expected to follow suit shortly.
