Cotton On makes millions
Cotton On Group has released its latest field report documenting the work of its not-for-profit initiatives across the globe.
The report details that throughout 2015, the company managed to raise $12,197,819 in funds through its charity The Cotton On Foundation.
In addition, it has also focussed on providing facilities and education in impoverished and disadvantaged regions both locally and internationally.
The retail group opened a music facility for youths and the wider community in Yirrkala, Northern Territory.
Overseas, it has used funding to deliver five container libraries to schools in South Africa and has lent support to 14 schools in southern Uganda.
17,364 people received medical care through its health clinics in 2015 alone, some of which will look to treating major diseases such as HIV.
Cotton On Group aims to establish 20,000 educational places by 2020.
At this stage, it has set up 4719.
