Australian fashion retailer Decjuba is ramping up its retail footprint with the opening of its 50th store.

Today it will unveil its newest flagship in the Gold Coast's Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.

The retailer has collaborated with global digital influencer Michaela Babushka (FIGNTY) to front its latest campaign.

Decjuba is on the path to rapid expansion and opened 14 new stores across Australia and New Zealand in 2015.

Decjuba CEO Tania Austin said that the brand has appointed a store development director in order to facilitate growth.

Austin made her mark by co-founding and scaling Cotton On, before taking the reigns of Decjuba.

"This is such an exciting time in retail – the international players keep us on our toes, online innovation and integrating that with our in-store brand experience is paramount, yet one thing always remains the same - the customer is always central to where we take the brand and what locations we build into our portfolio," she said.

Austin also said that while international expansion is on the cards, a core focus on cementing the retailer's offering to Australia is critical.

"Right now the aim is to ensure that every woman across Australia has access to the edginess, affordability and effortless style that is Decjuba."

“2016, with the combination of an accelerated store expansion plan and the opportunity to recruit amazing retailers who thrive on the shop floor, is set to be our best year yet.”
