Colorado Group has yet to sell any of its brands, nearly two months after "more than 50" expressions of interest in the business were filed.

Ferrier Hodgson, the receivers managing Colorado Group's affairs, confirmed over 50 expressions of interest in the business had been received by the deadline of April 19.

Despite this, Ferrier Hodgson partner Brendan Richards told Ragtrader today (June 9) "none of the brands have been sold".

"A range of possibilities exist and the receivers are in continued discussions regarding the future of the business," said Richards.

Colorado Group went into voluntary administration on March 30, 2011. Notes from the first creditors meeting cite the Group's inability to service its $400 million debt, "deteriorating trade conditions" and "poor brand positioning" as the reasons for the Group going under.

Colorado Group currently has three primary offices, 3700 employees and operates 434 stores across Australia and New Zealand.

It has been owned by private equity firm Affinity Equity Partners since 2006 and brands in its stable include Diana Ferrari, Mathers, Williams, Colorado and Jag.
