Specsavers has confirmed the exclusive launch of Christopher Esber – the latest addition to its designer portfolio.

Esber has designed a 20-piece eyewear range, featuring 13 optical and seven sun frames, available exclusively at Specsavers. The range was crafted in close collaboration with the Specsavers design team, using inspiration from Esber’s design style, including deconstructed silhouettes and textile-inspired finishes.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Christopher Esber into the Specsavers stable of designers,” Specsavers head of frames Nelly Soleil said. “It was a joy to collaborate with Christopher to bring his vision and unique design signatures to life in this range.

“With stunning and unexpected details synonymous with Christopher Esber’s designs peppered through this collection, we know it’s going to be a favourite amongst our customers.”

Since launching in 2010, Christopher Esber has scaled his presence globally, designing dresses for the likes of Zendaya, Dua Lipa, Hailey Bieber, Priyanka Chopra and Jennifer Lopez.

He has also featured his looks at Paris Fashion Week in 2023, and was named Designer of the Year and Australian Fashion Laureate in the same year.

In 2024, he became the first Australian to win the Grand Prix prize at the prestigious ANDAM Awards in Paris.

“Designing this collection with Specsavers offered a rare opportunity to introduce Christopher Esber to a wider audience, distilling our brand expression into a considered eyewear range,” Esber said. “Each frame is pared back, refined and grounded in our design DNA – from sculptural lines and subtle hardware detailing, through to an organic palette inspired by the natural environment.

“Designed to be worn every day, the collection offers an understated way to integrate the brand’s signature sensibility into your personal style.”

Esber joins a raft of designers who have designed exclusively for Specsavers, including Alex Perry, Mimco, Carla Zampatti and Collette Dinnigan.

The Christopher Esber collection at Specsavers is priced from $199 and is now available in stores across Australia and via its online website.
