French fashion house Christian Louboutin has opened a pop-up space at David Jones, Elizabeth Street in Sydney.
Called The Louboutin Bar, the activation will launch on Level 7, which is the luxury shoe floor, near the Christian Louboutin boutique.
Highlighted in the label’s key red colourway, the pop-up will serve a range of drinks and food, including the Loubitini cocktail – a blend of Papa Salt Coastal Gin, mandarin liqueur, chocolate bitters, orange, sage and lemon sherbet.
Christian Louboutin has also partnered with Lune Croissanterie to serve a Loubi Love Cake that includes pistachio frangipane and a layer of Persian love cake.
The move comes ahead of peak season, with a recent report by the Australian Retailers Association and Roy Morgan projecting a 4 per cent boom in Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales this year.
It also comes as some brands and retailers rejig their marketing budgets to focus on in-real-life activations as customer preferences change.
