Australian fashion businesses are set to be presented with new sourcing options from the Chinese market, with a major trade fair securing a whopping 60 per cent first-time exhibitors.
The China Clothing and Textiles Expo will be staged at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from November 13 – 15, 2013.
Over 250 companies will be on show, with 60 per cent exhibiting for the first time.
The companies will offer clothing, fabrics, footwear, fashion, accessories and home textiles.
The fair has also introduced gifts and homewares to its product categories for the first time this year.
A majority of exhibitors will be from the Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zheijang, Fujian and Guangdong areas, which contribute to 90 per cent of China's export of garments and textiles to Australia.
An addition 200 international manufacturers and suppliers will be available at the co-located Sourcing Fair.
