Australian brands looking to break into the Asian market should listen up.

Industry seminar Online Fashion Success will play host to the National Online Retailers Association (NORA), who will be joined by top industry brands to discuss opportunities for Australian businesses.

The Iconic, Jeanswest, SHOWPO, JAG and 2XU are among those that will be connecting with NORA to share insights and discuss online strategies for export to Asia.

NORA chairman Paul Greenburg believes it's a 'once in a life time' moment to enter to Asian market.

"Australian brands have had to learn to compete against the many international brands here. Now they're setting their sights to return fire and compete on the world stage. Those brands that accelerate their rate of innovation, and take the global plunge over the next three to five years, will write the new retail story."

China's online shopping spend is expected to increase to $500 billion in 2016 – a growth of up to 40%.

There are reportedly over 2000 international brands competing for this spend through Alibaba's Tmall.

Online Fashion Success founder and director, Colman Ridge, believes that the event will be a golden opportunity to learn from industry leaders to succeed in a competitive climate.

"One of our main objectives is to fast track export order growth online for Australian and New Zealand fashion labels. We want to ensure attendees leave with new ideas and contacts to improve their outcomes in the year ahead."

Online Fashion Success will take place on March 23rd at UTS in Sydney.
