Champion has launched a YouTube marketing campaign that aims to support local music artists across Australia and New Zealand.
The new campaign comes following its collaboration with Australian social enterprise HoMie and counter-culture icon Smiley in May 2022.
Called ‘Champion Of’, the new marketing campaign includes a six-part miniseries, uncovering six emerging artists for the brand’s target audience.
They include Melbourne-based rapper Srirachi (AUS), vocalist Gold Fang (AUS), Melbourne rap group 3K (AUS), pop and R&B singer Reyanna Maria (AUS), 18-year-old singer Sahxl (AUS), and reggae artist Rubi Du (NZ).
Uploaded fortnightly, each short episode will follow the journey of one artist as they collaborate with an industry expert.
“Champion Of marks a new chapter in the evolution of the brand across Australia and New Zealand,” said Champion brand manager across AU NZ Rory O’Halloran.
“Customers are demanding more authentic and engaging content.
“We wanted to provide a platform for local artists to further build their fan base and connect with new audiences by getting outside their comfort zones and letting their personalities shine.
Topics across the series will range from magic to skateboarding, to origami and ironing.
Episode one will begin with Sydney-based artist Gold Fang, who collaborates with international magician Tim Ellis.
Champion has long been committed to supporting local and emerging artists. In May this year, they partnered with Australian social enterprise HoMie and counter-culture icon Smiley.
The three entities curated a limited-edition range to help combat youth homelessness and hardship.
Champion Of has launched already, with three episodes uploaded to YouTube.
