Chambord, Seduce and local design label An Ode to No One will celebrate the launch of the winning Chambord Shine Awards dress via a VIP event tomorrow night.

The invitation-only event will be held at Seduce’s flagship store at Ivy from 6pm onwards, with Australian actress and filmmaker Gracie Otto hosting the proceedings. Guests will also have the chance to purchase the Chambord Shine Awards dress at the event, ahead of its national release at Seduce stores from Thursday.

The garment, by Adi Setiadi of An Ode to No One, was created as part of Chambord Shine Awards – a partnership between Chambord liqueur and Seduce Australia – which saw Setiadi compete against four other finalists earlier this year for the opportunity to have his design produced and retailed on the high street.

As part of his prize, Setiadi also spent a week behind the scenes at Seduce headquarters for a mentorship with the Seduce design team to understand the challenges and requirements of high quality and fast moving fashion manufacture.

Setiadi will also have his red silk gown displayed via a personally designed window display, inspired by Chambord liqueur and created by AZBcreative and Australian artist Dion Horstmans.

The window display, a mix of 3D sculptures made from gauge steel rods with exaggerated fluoro orange elements and fluorescent orange tubing, will feature across all Seduce stores for a full month.

The red silk Chambord Shine Awards gown will retail at $239.95 in 13 Seduce stores across Australia including Seduce’s flagship store at Ivy on George Street, Sydney CBD.
