A home-grown Perth designer who recently collaborated with Sportsgirl has now been head-hunted by a designer from a top American fashion store.
Jewellery designer Carly Paiker, aged 26, who has a bespoke cluster of her accessories stocked in Sportsgirl shops, will launch into America later this year.
Her collection will feature at Bettina Duncan's Fred Segal store, an upscale California based clothing retailer in Los Angeles.
Paiker said that jewellery designer Duncan 'loved' her collection and will dedicate a large space just for the brand.
“Bettina loved the collection,” Paiker said. “I am very excited to begin my launch in the US and launching in this iconic store is a very promising first step.”
Paiker's current range combines exotic, embossed leathers with stones, crystals, snake leathers and faceted hand cut stones.
