Local accessories brand Bespecd has invested in a new campaign with more to it than meets the eye.
The etailer, which offers prescription men’s and women’s designer eyewear, has launched its spring/summer 2014 campaign and announced that it will also donate a portion of each sale to one of four registered international charities.
Going forward, Bespecd has confirmed it will make a donation to the charity selected by the customer with each purchase of a pair of glasses.
Consumers can choose to plant a tree through Rainforest Rescue; provide clean drinking water to 100 people for a day through the Wellwishers Trust; give a person in need a pair of glasses with The John Fawcett Foundation and will provide tools and skill training to youth in developing countries to help give them a future with Empower.
Bespecd has been spreading the word on its latest move in conjunction with the release of its spring/summer collection which launched last month.
Commenting on the company's charity involvement, Bespecd co-founder Tracey Cruickshank said it aimed to make shopping online “a truly worthwhile experience”.
