Danish shoe manufacturer Ecco has launched an extensive local campaign to celebrate its 50th anniversary in Australia.
The brand, originally established in 1963, has hand-picked 10 promising Australian stylists to take part in its 50th anniversary challenge and produce two striking images for Ecco.
The Ecco Shoes 50th Anniversary Stylist’s Competition 2013 aims to commemorate excellence in Scandinavian design, with each stylist invited to create a unique Ecco look for summer 2013/14 and autumn/winter 2014 which pays homage to the brand’s rich history and essence.
The Ecco Shoes 50th Anniversary Stylist’s Competition will be held on May 14 at Sun Studios in Sydney, with the winner to take home a hefty $10,000 in prize money.
Stylists will have the option of choosing either male or female shoes and will have the opportunity to view and request their preferred model – either male or female – with models provided by Chic agency.
Stylists will be assisted in the hair department by Keiren Street, make-up by Alison Boyle and photography by celebrity photographer Nicholas Samartis.
