Footwear brand Mathers has launched a fresh campaign as it prepares to kick off a new era.

Mathers is part of the Fusion Retail Brands group, which recently revealed that it is in the process of selling off its brands, including Mathers and its sister brands Colorado, Williams, Diana Ferrari, and Jag.

Ahead of the change, Mathers has released a lavish campaign to spruik its new autumn/winter 2013 range, shot on location at a grand home in East Melbourne.

Styled by Marc Wasiak, the campaign is titled ‘A Fine Romance’ and has been inspired by the 1920’s.

The shoot embodies the glitz and glamour of the era and showcases the Mathers autumn/winter 2013 range of men’s, women’s and children’s shoes and accessories.

The Mathers collection for the season features a mix of the latest trends, including metallic detail, rich textures, animal prints, rodeo and classic boots as well as loafers and handbags.

Commenting on the campaign, Fusion Retail Brands ladies category manager Natalie Baldo said the fresh campaign sets a new standard for Mathers.

“We wanted to capture the diversity of the Mathers range with this campaign. ‘A Fine Romance’ will entice shoppers to try new looks that are fashionable and sophisticated,” she said.

Mathers currently operates 72 locations across Australia, stocking the exclusive house brand Giovanna, as well as Diana Ferrari, Jag, Colorado, Naturalizer and Hush Puppies.
