Streetwear brand Mossimo is set to unleash a dynamic campaign on Australian shores.

The label, operated locally by retail giant Pacific Brands, has joined forces to with SLAM 2013, an amateur volleyball festival which will roll out nationally this summer on Australian beach locations.

Mossimo is the exclusive fashion partner for the national event and will have a stronger physical presence in Sydney and Melbourne locations, in a bid to hark back to its Californian beach heritage.

Mossimo volleyball teams will participate in the event on a Mossimo volleyball court inviting festival goers to participate in the fun on January 12 at Sydney's Cronulla beach, and January 19 on Melbourne's St. Kilda beach.

Commenting on the initiative, the company said it is seeking to increase engagement with its customer base.

“A big part of Mossimo's marketing strategy for 2013 is to engage with consumers on a fun, personal level and SLAM provided a great vehicle for this. Mossimo has a strong loyal customer base and wants to give back to them in a capacity they can enjoy and socialise together.”
