Ebay's Fashion Gallery has launched a fresh campaign featuring fashion identity Lara Bingle to celebrate its first-ever Australian designer partnership.
The partnership, which coincides with the site’s first birthday, features a limited-edition range of custom t-shirts by five of the country’s top designers; including Alex Perry, Lisa Ho, Camilla Franks, Michael Lo Sordo and design duo Becky Cooper and Bridget Yorston from local label Bec & Bridge.
EBay Australia & New Zealand head of fashion Jo-Ann Hicks said that while the Fashion Gallery designer partnership had been on the cards for some time, the platform's first birthday marked the perfect occasion for its unveiling.
“We are thrilled with the response to Fashion Gallery at eBay in its first year. It has been a real game-changer for eBay and its success lies in directly connecting shoppers to the brands they know and love,” she said.
“The launch of our Australian fashion designer partnership is a great way to take our fashion offering to the next level. Working with five incredible Australian designers and then shooting the campaign with model Lara Bingle has been an incredible experience – we think shoppers are going to share our excitement for this amazing project.”
The Fashion Gallery designer partnership campaign imagery was shot by renowned photographer Darren McDonald with the help of stylist Marina Afonina and creative director Lyndal Frollano.
Hicks also revealed that behind-the-scenes footage of the campaign shoot and designer interviews will be released for Fashion Gallery’s social media platforms.
The exclusive designer T-shirts retail for for $39.00 and are part of a limited edition range, with only 250 available per designer.
