Iconic Australian designer Jayson Brunsdon has strengthened his partnership with department store giant Myer.

Brunsdon, who launched his eponymous diffusion line Jayson Brunsdon Black Label with Myer in 2011, has confirmed the label will now be stocked in an additional nine Myer stores for the spring/summer 2014 season.

The expansion, on the back of market demand and the label's success, will now see the Jayson Brunsdon Black Label brand stocked in a total of 35 Myer stores nationally - up from 26 stores in previous seasons.

Commenting on the coup, Brunsdon said the expansion of his Black Label marks an exciting time for the brand.

“It is very fulfilling for me as a designer to collaborate with Myer on a collection that reaches a broader customer base with affordable price tags with a very fashionable, on trend flair,” he said.

Myer group general manager of women's fashion Nicole Naccarella added that the department store is “delighted” with the continued success of Jayson Brunsdon Black Label and its expansion.

“Since its launch into Myer two years ago, Jayson Brundon’s Black Label has gone from strength to strength and is really admired by our customers. We are delighted that we can now offer more of our Myer customers across Australia Jayson’s beautiful, high-end fashion at affordable prices,” Naccarella said.

The Jayson Brunsdon Black Label Collection for spring/summer 2014 aims to draw on the modern appeal of individual dressing. Features throughout the range include an eclectic mix of florals, lace and stripes, bomber jackets and printed pants, body con dresses and signature vintage fit and flare styles.

Pricepoints for product across the Jayson Brunsdon Black Label range from $119 to $249.
