Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane is set to return on August 25, with five days of spring/summer runways.
Fashion Festival organisers have announced a new venture for the event: Howard Smith Wharves.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane director Lindsay Bennett confirmed it would be the 13th iteration of the event.
“We are excited to once again stage the Fashion Festival and provide a significant platform for Queensland’s best established and up-and-coming design talent.
"The key focus of the Festival is, as always, to shine a spotlight on our incredible local fashion industry, connecting designers with customers, media, and industry insiders,” Mr Bennett said.
“Howard Smith Wharves is a historic landmark and arguably Brisbane’s most on-trend destination, so it is the perfect backdrop as we welcome in the new Spring/Summer collections from top Queensland and national, as well as emerging fashion designers,” Bennett said.
Further details of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane, including participating designers and the full program of events, will be announced in the coming weeks.
