Salvaged designer label Little Joe Woman has revealed it will add another notch to its brand resurrection this month.

The brand, owned by former supermodel Gail Elliott, collapsed into administration in February last year, with Jirsch Sutherland Chartered Accountants to handle its affairs.

The label has since been salvaged by a Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA), and Elliott has confirmed that she will soon launch a new store for the label in Knox Street, Double Bay on Saturday, April 20, 2013.

The Double Bay address is the newest addition to the current stores, which include the newly opened Glenmore Road, Paddington store and another outlet in Sydney's Woollahra suburb. Double Bay is also home to the Little Joe Woman head office

The 50 square metre space will consist of light wooden floors with wall-papered photographs and memoirs of Elliott’s personal memories, and shopfront and interiors clad in the classic shingle style of a Hampton’s cottage as a nod to where the brand was born in 2004.

Commenting on the development, Elliot said the new store also represents an exciting new step in the growth and re-building of the brand.

“The Little Joe Woman brand is moving forward in leaps and bounds with a new company strategy and structure in place. The re-development and support of a new era of the brand is upon us, and it is becoming a very busy and exciting time,” she said.

“With a new focus on collection depth and growth, there are now seven categories within the ranges, with silk cashmere knitwear and leather becoming iconic Little Joe Woman stories.”
