Former Pacific Brands chief executive Sue Morphett is back - this time hoping to turn the fortunes of another national retailer.

Noni B has posted an after-tax loss of $2.4 million for the first half of fiscal 2015, 224.6 per cent below the previous year.

Revenue was $57 million, 8.6 per cent below the previous corresponding period of $62.4 million.

Morphett is part of a major restructure of the company's executive team.

Noni B founders, the Kindl Family, sold their 42 per cent stake in the company last year and twin brothers David and James Kindl stepped down as joint MDs.

Investment firm Alceon Group purchased the stake and has executed a number of senior management changes.

This includes the departure of CFO Ann Phillips and the appointment of Morphett as non executive director.

Noni B has commenced the search for a new CFO, while two directors Joycelyn Morton and Leo Tutt have also left the board.

Morphett was CEO of Pacific Brands from December 2007 to September 2012.

She is also  a non executive director Asaleo Care Limited, Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Godfreys Group and chairman of Manufacturing Australia.
