Blue Illusion secures 80s supermodel
Blue Illusion has secured French fashion icon and supermodel Estelle Lefubre as the face of its summer campaign.
Sustainability will be at the forefront of the new season, with the launch of Femme Naturelle.
Femme Naturelle is a sustainable line dedicated to organic materials such as French linen, silk chiffon and superfine organic cotton.
Blue Illusion founder Donna Guest said the new line is an important venture for the brand.
“As always, sustainability remains at the heart of Blue Illusion, and it is with pleasure that I present Femme Naturelle; our sustainable line dedicated to preserving the environment with the very best manufacturing in mind.
"We are committed to a future of fashion that not only looks great; it’s also good for our planet."
The collection includes easy separates mixed with summer prints, over-swim and casual poolside pieces along with denim and shirting wardrobe staples.
Photographer Daniela Federici photographed Lefebure for the campaign in St Barts.
"I was very drawn to the brand’s ecological message," she said.
"They manage to be environmentally aware and create elegant and chic clothes at the same time. The prints are beautiful and the organic cotton is something I appreciate. The clothes are versatile for taking on vacation.”
