Last month, Ragtrader exclusively announced e-boutique Farfetch's plans to ramp up operations in Australia, now there's more.
The company has just acquired luxury retailer UK retailer Browns.
The move will aim to continue Farfetch's omni-channel growth strategy, as well as its long term plan to shape and pioneer the retail experience of the future.
Browns will still run its brand and business independently, but will leverage Farfetch's global technology platform.
Farfetch have also revealed that to make this happen, it will launch an independent business unit headed by managing director Sandrine Devaux, previously in charge of multi-channel operations at department store Harvey Nichols.
In addition Holli Rogers, former fashion director of Net-A-Porter will front Browns as CEO.
There has been no announcement as to whether the company has similar acquisition plans for Australian retailers.
