Best and Less Group has become a member of global ethical trade platform Sedex.
Sedex allows businesses to manage business risk, meet compliance and provide transparency over their global supply chains.
The move furthers Best and Less' commitment to ethical sourcing across its global supply chain and will allow it to access data and information from Sedex's 60,000 other members.
The membership builds on Best and Less' Ethical Sourcing Code, which saw it conduct 217 factory audits across its global supplier base in 2021.
Additionally, the Sedex membership builds on Best and Less' first Modern Slavery Statement which was published in 2021.
Best and Less Group CEO Rodney Orrock said the membership with Sedex marks an important milestone in the business' sustainability and ethical sourcing journey.
"As a business with family at its core, Best and Less Group is committed to operating ethically and sustainably across every part of our business.
"We strongly believe every person working in our supply chain deserves a safe place to work and to be paid a living wage, and we are proud to announce our membership of Sedex, which is the next important step in our commitment to ethical sourcing," he said.
Alongside this news, Best and Less states that it has made good progress on its commitments outlined in its Living Wage Statement.
The announcement of its Sedex membership comes after the reveal of its new baby branding, which has a focus on quality materials.
