Sydney-based fashion and lifestyle brand Belle & Bloom has achieved $1.2 million in sales in one year.

The brand, which began three years ago, has seen strong growth and is set to turnover $6 million this financial year.

As reported by Ragtrader, the brand witnessed exponential growth in its coat category, with the business going from selling 10 coats a day to selling 150-200 coats a day at the time. The growth in this category has likely contributed to the brand's strong sales results.

After finding success in the segment,  the brand presented the coats to The Iconic and saw sales triple.

Speaking to Ragtrader at the time, CEO Sherry Wu, also owner of underwear line Mosmann, said that many styles were selling out and were sitting in pre-purchase status online.

"Given it was the middle of winter we didn’t expect the magnitude in sales and interest from consumers.

"Although the new category line was well designed and planned, the July launch performed substantially better than we expected.

"After the consistent sales we decided to present the coats to The Iconic and sales tripled.

"There is a gap in the market, where consumers want to find point of difference in trend, high quality and affordable pricing, similar to our bags. We apply this ethos to our whole brand," she said.
