Australian designer label Beare Park has been chosen to design the next iteration of Commonwealth Bank’s corporate uniform for frontline staff.

Beare Park joins a high-calibre line-up of past designers who have had the honour to design the bank’s uniforms over the last 40 years, including Carla Zampatti, Perri Cutten and Lisa Ho.

A former banker herself, Gabriella Pereira founded Beare Park after identifying a gap in workwear that is contemporary and professional. Since launching the brand five years ago, Pereira earned herself an Australian Fashion Laureate in 2024 for Emerging Designer of the Year and continues to build a strong presence at Australian Fashion Week.

“Our vision is to create a wardrobe that feels modern, functional and elevated, while reflecting the individuality and professionalism of CommBank’s people,” Pereira said.

Commonwealth Bank of Australia CMO Jo Boundy said its corporate wardrobe is one of the most visible expressions of the bank, and plays an important role in how its staff show up for customers.

“As we approach 40 years of partnering with Australian designers for our corporate wardrobe, we saw an opportunity to reimagine it for today – creating something our people feel proud to wear,” Boundy said.

“Gabriella brings a unique perspective, combining her experience in corporate Australia with her exceptional design credentials. As a CommBank small business customer, her story is also a powerful example of how we support Australian businesses.”

CommBank’s new corporate wardrobe will be revealed later this year.
