David Jones has unveiled the “Next Generation”.
The company has officially opened doors to its new Indooroopilly (QLD) store, the first of its stores to showcase the future vision for its retail network.
The store will stock a range of national and international brands across a several categories – such as womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, accessories and footwear, beauty, home and food – across 14,200 square metres in size and two levels.
David Jones said the Indooroopilly outlet incorporates all of the features of the Company’s “Next Generation” store concept.
This includes new features such as complimentary customer wifi, digital charging stations, an interactive 'Omni-Mirror', customer seating areas along with dedicated in-store areas to purchase merchandise online and to collect online purchases.
The Indooroopilly store will employ 120 staff, offering superior service and product knowledge for customers’ everyday and special occasion needs.
In addition, the store also offers a style advisor equipped to assist customers with all their fashion, gift giving and shopping needs, a gift registry kiosk, gift-wrapping station, alteration facilities, children’s shoe fittings and lingerie fittings.
Commenting ion the launch of Indooroopilly, David Jones CEO and managing director Paul Zahra said it marks an important era for the company.
