Brand powerhouse True Alliance is set to unleash an old favourite.
True Alliance has confirmed it will officially relaunch the Teva the 'Originals' collection from September this year.
This is the first time the Originals collection will be widely available in Australia.
The decision to relaunch the collection comes off the back of incredible momentum in the US with partnership success in the likes of Urban Outfitters and Opening Ceremony.
Teva Originals will be available primarily in key outdoor retailers such as Kathmandu as well as select independent footwear stores.
The collection talks back to the first Teva sports sandal ever made in 1984. It is a heritage piece brought into the modern day with super bright colour pops and patterns that reference the old school design elements of the first Teva’s.
The men’s collection will include two primary silhouettes: Original Sandal and Original Universal. In the women’s collection, the same two silhouettes will feature; Original Sandal and Original Universal. Price points will range from $69.95 to $89.95.
Commenting on why they are relaunching The Originals collection here, Teva said it will allow the brand to tap into a new market.
“Teva will continue to pursue the Originals Collection as a focus point for the brand moving forward. We will still maintain our core product offerings in the more technical outdoor market, however we will be reaching a newer, younger audience y encapsulating the Teva spirit via Originals.”
