Australian jellies footwear brand Holster has opened a new store in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Holster already has a store in Dubai, UAE and has plans for further expansion with a new store opening in China in summer 2016.
Holster co-founder Ben Nothling said the brand has leveraged off the success of its thriving online business and flagship store in Noosa Australia.
“There has been discussion for the past nine months with our South African distributor. They came to Noosa in February and we finalised the first store then.”
The store merchandise for the Johannesburg store will replicate holster’s Noosaville store, bringing Noosa beach inspired footwear into the global arena.
Nothling said Johannesburg was the perfect location with a population of over four million and prestigious shopping malls, catering to a wide demographic.
“We are very positive about the new store with more in the pipeline for South Africa. Cape Town and Durban are next!”
