Designer label Misha has opened its first flagship boutique at the Emporium Melbourne, with the Australian brand eyeing global retail growth.
The new boutique was designed by Milanese architecture firm WANT Studio, selected by Misha’s founder and creative director Michelle Aznavorian. The founder’s ambition is to build a brand that can outlive her.
The store includes bespoke furniture, such as sculptural islands and a custom-designed rug, as well as fur chairs and curved racking.
Misha also made the decision to not include a traditional point of sale counter.
“This flagship is more than a milestone — it’s a manifestation. It’s a marker of the standards we hold and the future we’re building,” Aznavorian said.
“Everything from the light to the stone has been considered to reflect who we are — and where we’re headed.”
Misha was founded in 2013, and has since grown to service boutiques internationally across Australia, the United States and Europe. This includes through David Jones, The Iconic and The Dom.
