International etailer Mr Porter has announced the launch of its own private label Mr. P, with Australian consumers predicted to embrace the venture.
Created by a team of in-house designers the Mr P. collection will have year-round core staples, with five limited-edition capsules dropping throughout.
The launch collection spans 53 items across ready-to-wear, including 24eEssential styles available year-round and 29 seasonal styles within the debut capsule.
The majority of the collection is made in Italy, with some select pieces from Portugal and Selvedge denim from Japan.
Mr Porter buying director Fiona Firth said the company was expecting similar engagement from Australian consumers, with the collection now available.
"We don’t expect the launch of the collection to be any different in the Australian region compared to any others.
"We are very much treating the launch of Mr P. to be given the same treatment any other new brand on Mr Porter would be given, especially with the everyday essentials range within the collection which is available year-round.
"Mr P. sits in the contemporary bracket we have on the site, and I think that the price point of the pieces speak volumes over the quality of the product, which should appeal to all of our global customers."
"Entry level pricing in AUD is ‘approximately $95’, however the conversion is configured directly from the site so is subject to change based on exchange rates."
