Australian investor platform Stake has rolled out its own streetwear range called Stake Supply.
This isn’t the first time Stake has dropped apparel ranges for its investor customers, with chief customer officer Bryan Wilmot saying they’d create one-off drops of apparel to capture fandom and energy around the markets in the early days.
Stake was founded in 2017 by Matthew Leibowitz and Dan Silver.
“Our community inspires us every day,” Wilmot said. “In a world where the traditional blueprint to ‘getting ahead’ is changing, our customers are taking action to shape their own future. They’re in the market, using their portfolio to secure a house deposit, or steadily building their investments month after month.
“But many of these activities are kept in the dark and not talked about, so we wanted to bring that momentum into the light, and celebrate that shared mindset.”
The range consists of eight pieces across everyday apparel and a nod to basketball. Stake creative lead Leandro CP said Stake Supply is intended to be a badge for investing, similar to favourite band tees or tote bags from local businesses.
“Through subtle design cues, we wanted to bring an ‘if you know, you know’ energy to the range, and hopefully spark some real-life conversations,” CP said. “The creative potential for future drops is really exciting.”
Senior brand designer Abbey Brown said the goal was to make the apparel feel like a natural extension of the Stake platform.
“Designed with the same thinking as our products, Drop 1 is built around premium, everyday staples – easy to wear from trading to coffee runs.”
