Online fashion retailer Brands Exclusive has partnered with Sydney TAFE to offer a talented stylist a paid internship with the company.

The winner will also have their work published in Brand Exclusive's online publication The Exclusive.

The competition invites Sydney TAFE students to upload a flatlay image focused on SS15/16 fashion trends after which five finalists will be wittled down to one winner by a judging panel consisting of Sydney TAFE head teacher of fashion Holly Siles and Brands Exclusive CEO Alexandra Mills.

Mills encourages the 300 students currently studying across multiple fashion disciplines at the institution to apply and stay ahead of the pack.

“We want to support the future of Australian fashion.

“It is a very competitive industry, so we are giving talented students an opportunity to shine.”

“The fashion industry is so fast, especially in e-commerce, so aspiring stylists need to stick to a very tight deadline – we take hundreds of photos in our studio every day.

“The internship will cover many roles in e-commerce today, including buying, fashion styling and monitoring worldwide trends.”

Applicants can apply online until November 22.

The winner will be announced on December 1.
