In the midst of everything that's going on, Ragtrader likes to lighten the mood with a few laughs.

Last week we brought you the top 12 video chat bloopers.

This week's laugh comes in the form of wacky underwear tales from Australians working from home.

Since the start of March, more than 30,000 Australians have contacted underwear subscription service Knobby with an array of questions including how best to clean and care for their underwear.

Knobby founder and creative director Rob Rand said that Aussies aren’t shy when it comes to asking about how to care for their undies with questions including; if there is a specific type of water needed to wash underwear, how often should underwear be washed and do they need to be dry cleaned.

"We get all sorts of questions from subscribers and customers asking about the best way to clean and look after their undies, and to be honest I think a lot of the questions come our way because they are hesitant to ask friends or family.

"Caring for undies is pretty straight forward and for the most part all people need is a washing machine, cold water and laundry detergent, however there are a number of undie mishaps people experience which you can’t believe," he said.

One of the common questions the business receives from its female customers is how to stop their underwear falling victim to their dog.

Consulting an expert to explore why dogs do this, Knobby has called on VetLove Veterinary Surgeon Dr Geoff Wilson to help explain the mystery.

Wilson said dogs have many varying traits and personalities and eating underwear is one behaviour vets do encounter.

"Dogs can be very curious and they’re not shy when it comes to checking out what is laying around the house, especially if they come across something they have not seen before.

"There are some breeds such as hounds that will sniff out different odds and ends because it is part of their nature, but there are some dogs that will eat things with no nutritional value at all, such as underwear.

"This best thing to do if your dog is eating random objects is to try and keep them out of their reach and see if there is anything in particular they are sniffing out, and if it gets serious or if you think your dog needs help, get them to your vet," he said.

Knobby said that the best way to stop dogs eating underwear is to keep them in a safe place like a hamper before a wash and then put them into a draw once cleaned.
